WALSH Michael J., age 81, of Port Austin, April 23, 2015. Loving father of David (Jennie) Walsh and Kathleen (Douglas) Adkins. Dearest grandfather of Olivia and David Jr., (Brett, Evelyn and Ellen). Michael was a graduate of University of Detroit Jesuit High School class of 1951. He was a member of the US Marines and earned a purple heart in the Korean War. Also, he was postmaster of Taylor from 1978 ~ 1991, serving a total of 30 years with the Post Office. He was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Mary Walsh and his brother Cornelius Gerald “Jerry” Walsh.
