  • Just beyond heart-broken to have learned of the passing of Peggy… George, Sarah and Erica know that my prayers, thoughts for your wellness as you embrace profound grief, and sense of ‘light to you from beyond’ are lovingly and humbly being sent to you all and your family. Rob and i hold the deep and all-encompassing love through your Faith and the love of family and friends will hold you, day by day, minute by minute, as you each walk through your passage of heart ache and loss. I met Peggy many years ago as a parent; Sarah was in my Montessori community. The family transitioned with me as i joined MCH beginning a new primary community. I knew Peggy when she was pregnant with Erica, and later i would have the privilege of Erica in our MCH community. Peggy was also part of my family as she cared for my daughter, Elissa, when she was a little one. Elissa loved her so. I hear Peggy’s laughter and see her vibrant smile…Peggy was a supportive parent, with no hesitancy in volunteering where needed, and later as co-worker/assistant in several of our Montessori communities. We all loved her; so easy to connect with Peggy. Her generous and kindly nature, her agency, her many skills and talents contributed in a host of arenas at MCH. From a ‘Hostess with the mostest,’ with grace attending to detail as a co-worker volunteering her time and talents to our many all school functions to the nurturing supportive care and detail within a classroom, she gave, she gave, she gave. Her service and joyful work ethic found its home at MCH. We worked side by side, always taking the time to connect personally. Peggy’s ‘kind & generous spirit’, agency, beauty, organizational art, & devotion to contribute to the education of children, reflected in her many years at MCH, remains a significant, valuable, ‘heartfelt work of service’ here at MCH. I deeply mourn the loss of a very, very, dear friend. George, Sarah, and Erica you are in my heart… “O Lord, shelter her under the pavilion of Thy supreme mercy, perpetuate her existence in Thy garden of happiness, that she may plunge into the sea of light in the world of mysteries. Verily, Thou art the Generous, the Powerful, the Compassionate, the Bestower.” Blessings, candy voigt Candy Voigt
  • Peggy made me feel safe leaving my children. My older daughter simply adored her and we were saddened when she left for Texas. What a miracle it was when she returned and my younger daughter was able to bask in the presence of her intelligent, accepting, open and never judgmental kind instruction. Peggy was a master educator. We were blessed to know her. As a parent, I was privileged to have her influence in my children’s education and in their lives. To Peggy’s family: thank you for Sharing her with us. Please know that we hold you in our hearts and share this deepest grief with you at the same time the loss is unimaginable. PEGGY WYDO!!! PRESENTE!!! Sheila Contreras
