Robert "Bob" Weber, a devoted family man and beloved member of his community, passed away on July 9, 2025, in Carleton, MI. Born on April 25, 1945, in Cincinnati, OH, Bob lived a full and vibrant life, touching the hearts of those around him for 80 years.
Bob was a man of simple joys and deep passions. He was an avid supporter of the Detroit Tigers, loved racecar driving, and could often be found cheering on the Airport High School football team. His love for ice cream was well-known among his friends and family, often indulging in a scoop or two with a gleam in his eye.
A dedicated member of the U.A.W for over 30 years, Bob valued hard work and camaraderie. His commitment to his community and loyalty to his union were well-respected and admired by many.
Bob was preceded in death by his cherished grandparents, who played a significant role in his life. He is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Mary Lou, who stood by his side through life's journey. Together they shared a beautiful family, including their children Kathy (Warren Ferguson) Angel, Tammy (James) Perry, Terry (Tracy) Brown, and Kelly (Patrick) Richards. Bob’s legacy also lives on through his grandchildren, Tanya, James, T.J., Amanda, Tonie, Trevor, Brandon, and Brooke, as well as his great-grandchildren Brayden, Addy, Cayden, Camden, Landon, Brynlee, Tessa, Beckett, Emmie, Logan, and Riley.
Above all, Bob's greatest joy was his family. He held a special place in his heart for his grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with them and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Bob will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His warmth, humor, and unwavering love for his family will be remembered and treasured forever.
