ROY-WADDLE, Ruby L., age 88, of Allen Park, July 04, 2020. Ruby was born July 01, 1932 the daughter of the late HM (Matt) and Dorothy Warren-Roy. She is preceded in death by her son Michael Waddle, three brothers, William Elger Roy, George Edward Roy, Lloyd Roy and two sisters, Lola Bernice Shelby and Imogene Pettyjohn. She was married to Lloyd Waddle on January 11, 1951 who survives. To this marriage five sons were born. She is survived by four sons: Gary (Donna) Waddles of Hartselle, AL, Lloyd Dennis Waddle of Dearborn, MI, Timothy Vertis (Beth) Waddle of Lincoln Park, MI and Mark Quinton (Amy) Waddle of Lincoln Park, MI, eight grandchildren: Michael, Danny, Benjamin, Elizabeth, Kaitlyn, Jason, Matthew and Jacob, along with three great grandchildren. Ruby was born in Hickory Nut, Kentucky and raised on a farm just across the road from her husband Lloyd. They moved to Michigan for work and raised their children. Most of her life she was a homemaker and had a hair salon in the basement for many years. Ruby accepted Christ as her savior at a young age, was baptized in Pointer Creek and was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.
