Sarah F. Wood passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, May 23rd 2016 in Collinsville, Mississippi. Sarah was born May 20th, 1935 to Elbert Dawson and Elizabeth Nichols in Virginia. She met and married Hugh M. Wood and moved to Michigan to start and raise her family. She worked many years as a seamstress and upholsterer. She enjoyed sewing and continued a love of gardening up until she passed. She was always active and loved her family dearly. In her later years she relocated to Mississippi to live and help raise her youngest grandchild. She enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling and the companionship of her dog, BJ. She was preceded in death by her husband Hugh. Her surviving children remain Hugh L. and Martha Wood, David B. and Terri Wood and Lisa A and Marty Papizan. She has several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved her and will miss her.
