Obituary

Thomas Wayne Williams, born on October 14, 1968, in Detroit, passed away on January 27, 2025, in Gibraltar at the age of 56. Thom was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Jodi Williams, and their cherished children, Jake Thomas and Nicholas James. He leaves behind his loving parents, Wayne and Beverly Williams, and his dear sister, Lori (Scot) Westerbeek. His mother-in-law, Madlyn Spears, also mourns his passing.

Thom will be fondly remembered and missed by his nieces and nephews: Ashleigh (Alex) Whitney, Emily (Ty Anderson) Westerbeek, Abby (Austin) Jenks, and Todd (Rachel Walters) Spears.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, James Spears, and his brother-in-law, Jeff Spears.

Thom touched the lives of many, and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Condolences

Word can not express the love this man had for his family. He was a kind, caring, amazing father and husband, he was very special to our family. The sports games for yellow jackets and hearing his voice over the speaker, was something special to every kid on that field. That’s the thing about Thom he was a great man, who loved his kids. I had the pleasure of knowing him and having those memories will live on through all the amazing things he did. To Jake and Nick know that no matter where life takes you, your dad will always be there watching over you. Helping guide you and steer you down a great path. This year has been hard and complex not knowing what was happening. You boys remember that what support and love you gave was very much appreciated and take care of your mom.
