Obituary

WINKLER, Vernon E., age 91, of Mio, Michigan. Went to be with the Lord on December 20, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Patricia M. Winkler. Loving father of Diana Bogoski and Mary (Greg) Winkler-Allen. Dear grandfather of Dustin (Michelle) Brown, David (Sara) Shefferly, Alicia (Matt) Upton, Jeremy Winkler, Amy Winkler, Cord Bogoski, Tyler Allen and Gabriella Allen. Dearest great grandfather of Penelope, Olivia, Emma, Morgan, Liam and Charlotte. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Orlan (Wydea) Dagner, sister-in-law Ruth Winkler and his daughter-in-law Rose Winkler. Vernon was employed from Ford Motor Company in Monroe for 35 years before retirement. He is a member of Living Waters Lutheran Church and a Korean War Veteran. He is preceded in death by his daughter Cathy Winkler, son James Winkler, siblings Marjorie Winkler, Ken Winkler, Louis Winkler, Casper Winkler and Leonard Winkler.
