Obituary

Virginia Elaine Wagner, age 93, passed away on February 5, 2026, in Woodhaven, Michigan. Born on May 15, 1932, in Wyandotte, Michigan, Virginia embraced a life devoted to her family and home, where she served as a dedicated homemaker.

Virginia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Warren; her parents, William and Mirian; her sister, Patricia Harper; and her granddaughter, Michele McDonald. 

She leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory: her daughters, Martha (James) Delargey, Nancy (Jerry) McDonald, Betty (Tom) Taylor, and Mary (Russell) Schultz. Virginia was also the proud grandmother of Brian, Mark (Kim), Marissa (William), Kristopher, and Gretchen, loving great-grandmother to Claire, Emily, Katelynn, Kourtney, Kierstin, Kasey, Rylan, and Lucy. She is also survived by her sister, Ruth (Robert Manthey) Maughan, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 12:00PM to 3:00PM with a service starting at 3:00PM at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Michigan Memorial Park. The family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Compassionate Care Hospice in honor of Virginia’s memory.

Virginia will be remembered for the warmth and love she shared with her family and friends, leaving behind a legacy of cherished memories.
