Obituary

YARBERRY, Alan J., age 61, of Detroit, July 14, 2023. Beloved husband of Sharon Yarberry. Loving father of Mary (Chazz) Hollstein, Becky (Travis) Yarberry and step-father of Eric (Brooke) Marshall, Ryan Marshall, Aaron (Kim) Marshall and Megan (Anthony) Marshall. Dearest grandfather of Alyssa, Allison and Malaya. He is survived by his siblings Shirley, Robert (Jeannie), Dale, Dennis and George, sister-in-law Mary Ann Yarberry, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Ila Yarberry, his brother Paul Yarberry, his brother-in-law Victor Misiuda and his sister-in-law Kathy Yarberry. Alan loved doing puzzles and playing cards with his family. He loved going to the casino, especially Firekeepers. He enjoyed collecting coins, cars and lighthouses, going fishing and metal detecting.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

We just learnef about Alan death. My family and I saddened by his death. He was very nice. We were neighbors for about 11 years during which he was pleasant and very nice person to talk to.
