YAX, Duane L., age 75, of Romulus, September 17, 2016. Loving father of Jeff (Pamela) Yax, Brian (Joeann) Yax, Greg (Connie) Yax and Scott (Sheila) Yax. Dearest grandfather of Alexander, Miranda, Amanda, Zachary, Melinda, Melissa, Jacob and Jessalyn. Beloved brother of Jean McGeachy, Annabelle Stollicker, Jerry (Marion) Yax, Larry (Pat) Yax, Richard (Linda) Yax and Sandy (Ed) Klee and also survived by many, many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Mary Yax, his brothers and sisters Agnes, Gladys, George, Marguerite and Lucy.

  • I'm so sorry, He will be so missed. It was so much fun growing up with Uncles so close in age to me. I have great memories when Uncle Duane would come to our house. He helped our dad with chores on many occasions. And I can still see him and Uncle Dick using broom as guitars and singing to us. We all have been so privileged to be family.   • I first met Duane at the Romulus athletic center and then we realized we were cousins.we became pretty close and even sang together out in his yard.He had a great voice and sounded like Muriel Haggart.I really miss my cousin.i didnt get a chance to really know my other cousins, theres so many.He passed away on my mom's Birthday, which is today.RIP COUSIN.
