Yates, James B., age 92, of Romulus, November 17, 2022. Beloved husband to the late Rosemary Yates. Loving father to Kathryn Deyo (David), Nancy Helmuth (Larry), Jill Slavinsky (Eric), and Patricia Dage (John). Dearest grandfather to James Lollar (Heather), Justin Macintyre, Blake Macintyre, Amanda Slavinksy, Sarah Cummins (Trevor), Caitlyn Emery (Shaun), Benjamin Dage (Amy), and great-grandfather to Karris Lollar, Adeline Lollar, Everly Lollar, Clara Dage, Eden Emery, and Sawyer Dage. He is preceded in death by his grandson Nathan Macintyre, and siblings Betty West, Dorris Hansel, Richard Yates, and grandparents Charles and Minerva Sebring. James graduated from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri studying Theology, was a former member of Temple Baptist Church in Redford, and a current member of Wick Road Baptist Church in Taylor. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Samaritan's Purse.
