Obituary

YOUNG, Rodney E., July 3, 1950 ~ February 22, 2012. He died at his home in South Rockwood of natural causes. He was born in Tennessee, but lived most of his life in Michigan. He married his wife Diane on September 14, 1979. He was preceded in death by his nephew Brandon Wyzbinski Gelzer. He is survived by and will be dearly missed by his wife Diane, son Moriah of Muskegon Heights, MI, his daughters Attalia (Eric) Alverdes of Long Beach, CA and Tekoah (fiancé Kevin Moore) of Newport, MI, his grandchildren Jordyn Young, Felixia and Averilah Alverdes, his brother Buster (Marilyn) Young of Flat Rock, MI, his sisters-in-law Lynda Marie Wyzbinski of Clare, MI and Patricia (Scott Gelzer) Wyzbinski of Milwaukee, WI. He was a devoted husband and loyal dad. Rodney was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired from the Chrysler Engine Plant in Trenton, MI after 30 years of service
