Obituary

ZAFARANA, John E., age 87, of Plymouth, April 11, 2024. Beloved husband of Patty Zafarana. Loving father of Melissa (John Carlin) Zafarana and Monique (Robert Edwards) Zafarana. Dearest grandfather of Matea Carlin and Ever Carlin. He is survived by his siblings Joan (Robert) Cook and Barbara Rotter. He is preceded in death by his parents Jack and Jennie Zafarana, and his brother-in-law Robert Rotter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinsons Foundation or Tunnels to Towers.

When ever Johnny walked into the room he lite it up with that big, beautiful smile! I will always treasure the wonderful memories we shared, from the great family gatherings at the farm in Michigan to the fun parties we shared in Arizona. I have been blessed to have had a big cousin like Johnny who was one of the kindest and most generous people I have ever known. I know you loved Jesus and it showed in the way you lived your life! Johnny Z was the best neighbor he would always help out. He was always the smiling face. He had a great family and they were enjoyable the babysit for.
