  • Dear Chuck, David, Winnie & family, Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of my Santola and our cousin Maryann. Needless to say, we cousins in Illinois are heartbroken. Maryann was kind, generous, loving and the best role model for all of we her cousins. Today, we went to Mass to celebrate her life and how much we love her and all of you. • Gram, I cherish the time we spent together, not only when we were visiting you in Tinley Park, but for the past six years you lived in Michigan. You were a light in so many people's lives, and that light will continue to shine as you watch over us. We love and miss you so much, but we know you have been reunited with Uncle Larry and are playing cards waiting for us, one day, when we are reunited. Laura
  • I am so sad to hear that my Aunt Mary Ann has passed away. She was such a kind and caring person. She always took the time to care about everyone and make them feel special. She was at every important event in my life. I remember many times also just playing cards and spending time with her. My dad has shared many stories of how his big sister would try to keep him out of trouble and the fun they had as kids. He is heartbroken. Sending Love to David and the entire Zoochi family. Love you all Julie Julie Muchna
  • We will greatly miss our dearest Aunt Mary Ann. We loved our visits to see her, Uncle Charles and family -- both in Tinley Park and in Michigan. We loved organizing your cupboards and closets and enjoyed going through and sorting old family photos. We are deeply saddened that the pandemic made it necessary to cancel our plans to travel from California to visit. We always thought we would be able to see her at least one last time. The few times I was able to get through to her by telephone, she was always happy to hear from us. She was a lovely woman -- kind and sweet, with such a gentle nature. You will be in our thoughts forever, Aunt Mary Ann. With loving thoughts and wishes to you and all our family, Dalena, Thomas, Sheridan, Starr, Ev & Sig Dalena Hathaway
  • William and I were so saddened to hear of Aunt Mary Ann's passing. She was an absolute GEM! We had such a great time with her and Uncle Charles when we spent a couple of days with them at their home in Tinley Park in 2011, and again when we stayed with them for a couple more days at their home outside Detroit in 2018. We loved Aunt Mary Ann's passion for progressive politics, and for her beloved baseball team, the Cubs. We shared a lot of laughs together, and William, an attorney, treasures the canvas bag she gifted him with on our 2018 trip --- on it was printed the slogan "The Earth needs a good lawyer." We will miss this beautiful woman dearly. We send our love and hugs to the entire Zoochi family for this huge loss. May all the precious memories of your time with her sustain and console you, along with the knowledge that love is Eternal. Jan & William Zoochie Jan & William Zoochie
  • My husband Ed and I are saddened to hear of Mary Ann's passing. We were neighbors when we lived in the townhouses in Tinley Park. She was always such a wonderful friend. She and Chuck were always so friendly and welcoming. Our condolences to the family and please tell Chuck that we thought of them often. Audrey Tucker

  • I am so saddened to hear about the passing of my dear Auntie Mary Ann. I have so many fond memories of her. Helping me with my piano, playing at her house with my cousins Leah and Laura, and her always taking an interest in what was happening in my life. My daughter even shares a birthday with her. She was always so loving, patient and caring. She will be deeply missed. Keeping everyone in my thoughts and prayers and sending a big hug. Annie Maier
